The Board

Peter J F Wade MBBS, FRCS Director Consultant Hand and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in upper limb surgery (shoulder; elbow; hand and wrist). Peter Wade is a founding Director of Oak Medical Group.  He is a practising consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon specializing in hand and upper limb surgery. He has also been providing medical reports for personal injury and medical negligence cases for 21 years.

S J Krikler PhD FRCS(Orth) Director Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in lower limb surgery. Steve Krikler has extensive experience in hip resurfacing, having performed several hundred hip resurfacings since 1995. He also undertakes complex hip surgery and other lower limb arthroplasty, particularly in younger adults. As well as performing surgery, Mr Krikler provides medico-legal reports.

Mr John Clegg MB ChB FRCS Director Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in paediatric Hip Conditions. Mr John Clegg is a Director of Oak Medical Group and consultant paediatric consultant with over 30 years experience. An Honorary Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedics, Warwick University, Mr Clegg also provides Expert Witness services.

Mr W F Merriam MB ChB FRCS Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in trauma care and lower limb surgery. Mr Bill Merriam is a Director of Oak Medical Group and a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in spinal surgery. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Warwick.

Mr Stephen M Turner ChM FRCS(Edin) Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon, specializing in upper limb surgery and rheumatoid hand surgery. Steve Turner is a Director of Oak Medical Group and consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over twenty years of experience and particular expertise in upper limb surgery. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Warwick.

Mr N Shergill FRCS Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in spinal surgery and spinal disorders. Nilam Shergill is a Director of Oak medical Group and a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in spinal surgery.
